Cookie policy
The small print, in plain English.
This page lists every cookie and piece of browser storage PassADI.ie uses. The short version: a sign-in cookie, a preferences cookie, and on-device study progress. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
Sign-in session (names beginning “sb-”): set by our authentication provider (Supabase) when you sign in, so you stay signed in as you move around the site. Removed when your session ends or you sign out. Without it, accounts cannot work.
2. Functional cookies
Display preferences (“app-settings”): remembers interface preferences such as light or dark theme. It stores no personal data and is not used to identify or track you.
3. Local storage (stays on your device)
Guide pages with checklists — such as the check-test competency self-review and the business set-up checklist — save your ticks in your browser’s local storage under keys beginning “passadi-”. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
4. What we do not use
No analytics cookies. No advertising or retargeting cookies. No social-media pixels. No third-party tracking of any kind.
Because everything above is strictly necessary or functional, EU ePrivacy rules do not require a consent banner — that is why you do not see one. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them.
5. Third-party requests
Some interface icons load from Iconify’s public API. Like any web request, it carries technical data such as your IP address, but it sets no cookies and is not used to track you. Fonts are self-hosted; no font requests leave the site.
6. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the sign-in cookie means accounts and Premium will not work; everything free-to-browse remains available.
